Great column, Max. (And no f-bombs--inside joke.)

Portland has a very large, very quiet, very intimidated, very outraged, very tired of the same old shit crowd; if they ever rouse themselves to organize and push back at the local thugery, Max will be one of the reasons they saved their city.

Things are moving...slowly (it was designed that way by, among others, the man whose name was erased from one of our high schools). But move it will.

Thanks Richard. I feel the movement.

I'm also seeing some progressive groups reach out to say "Hey. We're infected. We need whatever inoculation you've got because this junk is gonna kill our org."

I don't see any movement and I haven't read anything about any progressives having a "come-to-Jesus" moment about their Jew-hatred.

I'm heartbroken and extremely pissed off. I'm reading this after just seeing a video of the psychopath in Boulder, Colorado, shouting "Free Palestine" after launching multiple Molotov cocktails into a crowd. Some were severely burned and are now fighting for their lives. We are in a very dark place in this country.

I learned that it happened shortly after I sent this out.

I will pray for them. I have no idea what to do next. I only know that we won’t stop. We will choose life. Every time.

Max I admire your courage! Although it shouldn’t take courage to speak the truth. I understand why this column took so long to write. I wish you the absolute best!

About time somebody told the truth about the commies and their Jew-hatred. Who remembers that it was the Soviet Union and the KGB that created the whole "zionism is racism" agitprop?

Very well argued and reported. You had an ally in me, but you gained a subscriber. Keep up the good work.

Hi. I just want to say you are doing an excellent job. I know this is exhausting and extremely time consuming work. But I appreciate very much what you are doing (although I wish you didn’t have to do it). But, it’s important and you are doing it so well. Please take care of yourself too.

Adam Curtis did a fantastic series for the BBC called Can’ t Get You Out of my Head in 2021. I was turned on to him when he did Pandora’s Box.. All his documentaries are fantastic. Little deep dives into history and highly informative. All parents need to sit with their children and watch them. It is tough to stay centered when gaslighting is going on. Start reading about irregular war.

Can’t get you out of my head:

Again and again.

Jews who are American citizens have a constitutional right to arm themselves for self protection. The recent assassination of two young people in Washington DC and now the outrage in Boulder are just the most recent reminders of this crying need.

On October 7, 2023, the Hamas terrorists were armed, the Israelis massacred were defenseless. The unanswered question is why did Israel disarm its citizens most of whom are IDF veterans and leave them vulnerable to mass rape and murder by Hamas? An incredibly stupid decision and the Israeli government is clearly culpable.

Every Jewish family in Israel (and the US) should have a handgun for every adult, an AR15 rifle and plenty of ammunition. Every adult and teenage member of the family should be proficient in their use. Have anti-gun Jewish politicians in both countries learned nothing from the Holocaust and the latest slaughters? Isn't it time for the Jewish people to tell them to go fuck themselves and begin to conceal carry so they are prepared to defend themselves wherever they are in either country?

Dave, I'm looking to get together a panel around Jewish-centered safety, gun rights, police funding, and the always controversial topic of concealed-carry.

I'll be honest that I'm coming at it from a very critical stance re: concealed carry. I'm open to hearing another perspective but I don't want a bunch of insufficiently trained, armed Jews in the streets. Defending your home with a rifle is very different than facing off against an active terrorist in a crowded area. I always think back to the Clackamas Town Center shooting and the poor guy who had the training, had the gun, but just couldn't get a clean shot. The good guy with a gun simply didn't work in that scenario. Thank G-d he was calm and trained enough to know that.

I do think it's time to talk about visibly armed security at events, better relationships with police departments, and ownership of firearms. As far as Jews acquiring proficiency. Yeah, I'm finally with you. We need to train and own.

This is such a tough question. Yes, the 2nd Amendment may be a deterrent against the worst sorts of violence in some cases, but the level of tactical training to handle a firearm responsibly in a defensive situation is beyond the reach of most people.
