Why I Tore Down a Women’s March Poster

Happy Women’s Day! I was going to publish something funny for my next piece. I wanted some levity and good news. I wanted to talk about City Council and the budget and not communism because I’m worried I’m going to be committed for seeing pinkos in the walls but then on Friday I had to lunge at a poster and tear it down in front of all the nice Park Parents.
One of the women I did this in front of was shocked, and I didn’t have much time to explain. Since I know all parties involved will eventually read this (or pretend in order to protect my fragile ego), here is my defense:
Look at that poster! Red, white, and blue. Lady Liberty. It’s enough to make you cry. Unless you know what you’re really looking at. Then it’s enough to make you scream.
It looks sort of like a 50501 poster. Immigrant Rights ✅, Trans & Queer Rights ✅, Women’s Rights ✅. “No to oligarchy and fascism in USA.” Oligarchy is a trendy phrase all sides are firing off like they just learned it, but whatever…
What else have we got? Peaceful protest is fine. No kings. Cool. We support Ukraine. I can dig it. Free Palestine… That’s unusual. No other 50501 materials mention Palestine but maybe it’s a Portland thing? “A new world is possible.”

Is this Communist agitprop dressed up in the Stars and Stripes?!
If you aren’t around leftist extremism you might not recognize “a new/better world is possible.” Many variants exist but it’s a dog whistle to let other communists know the event is for them. It’s like how white supremacists sneak the numbers 14 and/or 881 into things. If you know, you know. AOC knows what I’m talking about.

Here we’ve got the International Women’s Alliance (red/green women’s group), Half the Sky Portland (literal fucking Maoists), Gabriela PDX (militant Filipino Communists), and the Palestinian Feminist Collective (GUESS). Just a pack of militant extremists, most of whom openly hate Jews.
Here’s an event these groups promoted in Seattle last year. They did one in Portland but it was too small to get a cool poster. I feel like we’ve already gone over this earlier this week. I am losing the taste for being right all the time.
The followers lists of those Instagram accounts are a Who’s Who of Portland’s worst actors. Give ‘em a scroll and check your mutuals. These groups are also connected to the People’s Forum and, if you follow the rabbit hole far enough, Hamas and Iran.
Thursday night (March 6th) Portland Police swung by the new Community Free Store (a bunch of tents and tubs giving out food, tents, camping supplies), handcuffed a few people and ran IDs.
You may recognize Alissa Azar (@r3volutiondaddy), who will likely fly under an SSSS boarding pass for the rest of her life for some reason. There’s JC Troopa, a Portland Public Schools accountant who is a big fan of political violence and Hamas. (Again, I wouldn’t link to Andy Ngo but he is too often the only one doing this work.) Joni Davenport is a hairstylist who helps run that Community Free Store, a group called Rose City Indivisible (remember that name), and really loves to blend her passion for Palestine with symbols of terrorism.
Why was PPB there? Angelita Morillo is looking into it! Mostly because she follows all of these people on social media. That’s her community.
If I had to guess, I’d point to radical activists hurling molotov cocktails and shooting at a Tesla dealership. I might point to the uptick in political violence that started last year. The firebombing of ballot boxes, police cars, Rene Gonzalez’s home. With this march today, they might have gotten wind of something bigger planned.
The same crew connected to militant communist groups, terror support, and the various free stores around town are running this “Women’s March,” and making it look like an official 50501 event. The PPB are paying very close attention to them.
What’s Going On?
Isn’t 50501 good? Isn’t that what all the Democrats have been saying? Well…
The original 50501 event date was March 4th, 2025. 50 protests, 50 states, 1 day. It’s in the name. It was promoted by Oregon Indivisible, a mainstream liberal/progressive organization. Lots of Biden-Harris/Harris-Walz stuff on their Instagram page. No Communism, ACAB, or Israel obsession. Lots of women’s rights, pride flags, and pro immigrant messaging. Pretty inoffensive. I get why people like them.
If you check the Eventbright page for this new march on the 8th, it’s listed as being hosted by 50501. In reality, Rose City Indivisible is the host. (our above mentioned friends.) I checked the National Indivisible website and the Consolidated Oregon Indivisible Network, but couldn’t find mention of Rose City Indivisible or their event. That’s because they aren’t really affiliated. In fact, Rose City Indivisible is currently accusing the chair of Oregon Indivisible of assault.
Rose City Indivisible is an agitprop organization.
This is where I want to reference another piece I wrote. The problem is I never published it. I’m still working on my “Hasan Piker: Andrew Tate/Alex Jones of the Left” piece. So I have to steal from it - my beautiful, half baked piece that was flowing so well.
This is for you Women of Portland! I’m gonna plunder my own future because you deserve to have as many Women’s Days and Marches as you want without them getting hijacked by this ugly bullshit.
Hasan Teaches Us About Agitprop
Meet Hasan Piker, nephew of The Young Turks co-founder Cenk Uygur.
This video is amazing. I’ve already linked it once before and it ages like a fine wine. I just want to point to timestamp 20:43 , where Hasan acknowledges “hiding his power level” in order to radicalize his audience. This is later referred to by another communist agitprop podcaster as trying to “catch them while they’re young.” 🤢
This is the biggest leftist political streamer in the world (he makes at least $200,000 a month) admitting he is not a Social Democrat or a Progressive. He is a propagandist who specifically seeks to radicalize his young audience into anti-American patterns of thought so that The Empire will crumble and the better parts of the world, which are more radically inclined, can fire up their revolutions free from our fascist meddling.
Agitprop is the soviet strategy of “agitative propaganda.” It’s also the name of Hasan’s old show on the Young Turks. 5 years ago, when he should have been laughed out of polite society. In that linked episode, he actually defines agitprop using Encyclopedia Brittanica… which he then accuses of being “Western Imperialist Propaganda.”
agitprop, political strategy in which the techniques of agitation and propaganda are used to influence and mobilize public opinion. Although the strategy is common, both the label and an obsession with it were specific to the Marxism practiced by communists in the Soviet Union.
Fuck this guy.
I’ve lost track of the number of times some young lefty activist has fallen back on quoting Hasan to me.
You can be forgiven for misunderstanding the threat someone like Hasan poses. Your first interaction with him may have been this NBC puff piece “Behind the scenes with Twitch streamer HasanAbi.” He’s wearing a Joe Biden meme shirt in the interview and he’s on his best behavior for the cameras. This aired after he was nominated for Antisemite of the Year by Stop Antisemitism. He ended up losing to Candace Owens but it was a stacked field in 2024. He was recently banned for just two days for joking about the murder of a sitting US Senator.
Watch the NBC story even if you can’t make it through that Ethan Klein video essay. It’s horrifying to hear these young people (Hasan’s audience is almost entirely under 35) speak about how he makes the news accessible to them. NBC white-washes Hasan as (in his own words):
“…just like a normal dude who just doesn’t wanna be an asshole to like random marginalized people.”
But, as we’ve seen, this is fake. This is Hasan’s agitprop.
Rose City Indefensible
Back to Rose City Indivisible, our event hosts. What are they all about?
Their bio:
“Volunteer resistance group in so-called Portland, OR. Mutual aid. 🍉 fundraising. Disruption. 😷 community events. No party affiliation”
They hate Ron Wyden. A scroll through their Instagram feed is clarifying. They love Palestine. “Mutual Aid” and “Black Lives” are cool I guess, but Palestine - that’s where it’s at. That being the “genocide” Ron Wyden is doing. It really is only ever Wyden by the way… kinda like that Lydia Kiesling piece for the Cut.
It’s a very different take on the Indivisible group model. Instead of focusing on a wide variety of topics that affect Portlanders every day and organizing against the Trump Administration, they would like you to organize against a 75 year old, 6’2” Jewish Senator who would be on their side, if they were actually liberals or progressives.
That’s why I tore down the damn sign. It’s not a Women’s March if you ignore the tens of millions of women that communist regimes have murdered or left to starve. It’s not a Women’s March if they cheered for the brutality of October 7th and every day since. It’s not a Women’s March if they weep for the dead of Gaza but have no tears to spare for Iranian, Sudanese, Syrian, Afghan, or Yemeni women.
This is not a Women’s march. It’s another agitprop opportunity hosted by a pack of useful idiots and domestic terrorists. They have no answers to Trump.
Or, perhaps they do, but all of them involve violence and death.
Happy Women’s Day. Do something awesome with your weekend. Stay away from this march.

The first time I ever saw or heard of this cretin, he was on Piers Morgan's show shrieking a constant stream of profanities at the other guests. He had no ability to make an argument; no charisma; no persuasiveness; nothing but rage. It appeals to the personality-disordered generation that's tragically been lost to social media. "Hasan Piker" is a loser's idea of a winner.
Great piece, fellow Substacker--but also kinda sad that we are dwelling, in this town, inside the humorless, dour, fanatical, murderous, narcissistic, collectivist minds of the tenth of a tenth of the population who have learned how to scream the loudest and keep the squares off-balance. They exist because the collective Portland IQ is maybe 70 on a good day, mostly people trying to exist in a slowly deflating economy, in a world that (outside the walls of the reservation) could care less about their fever-dreams.
